Asus and Google have teamed up to produce Google’s first
Nexus tablet, which will allegedly offer a 7-inch screen with Android 4.0 Ice
Cream Sandwich (Or Android 5.0 Jelly Bean). Google will unveil its new Nexus
tablet during the Google I/O Conference on June 27th.
Because of the Kindle Fire’s massive success at its current
price point, one of NVIDIA’s goals as a chipset manufacturer is to develop a
tablet priced under $200. The Google’s Nexus tablet will be the first to
accomplish this feat with a NVIDIA quad-core Tegra 3 chip and a price of around
$200.
